Friday before recent long week-end I was having issue with changing the wax filter on... my hearing aid. It was almost closing time for the clinic and it would take me 30 minutes to get there. The receptionist very kindly agreed she will wait for me and help me. Yes that is what I call service. Thank you again to the lady.After doing due diligence regarding best hearing clinic in my area, I decided to visit this clinic. At my first appointment I was impressed with Reza the owner. He was very professional and listened to my hearing loss issues and had answers to all my questions. Reza recommended that since my left ear has zero hearing and right ear has significant loss that I would be better served overall to get a cross over unit to wear on left side and a normal hearing aid on the right side. During the period of one month I visited him several times for adjustments and he was always patient. I should add that his reception staff were very pleasant. I highly recommend this hearing clinic.read more

Acoustica made custom ear plugs for my girlfriend and I, customized for sleeping. ... Custom ear plugs are quite a bit more expensive then the disposable foam ones, but they fit much better, stay in overnight, and are easy to use. They also reduce plastic waste. The ear plugs by Acoustica are really comfortable and effective and they also made some fit adjustments after a couple months for us. The staff there were really accommodating and helpful and it was a great experience throughout.read more

I went to Acoutica for my hearing test in 2020 and was extremely impressed by the... friendliness and professionalism of the staff.I bought my first set of hearing aids from a different company and was not happy with the service I received.I wish I would have gone to Acoußtica the first time and I now know I would have been very happy with the quality of service.I am extremely happy with my new hearing aids purchased from Acoußtica.Reza took the time to explain all the features and what accessories were availble and I didn't feel rushed or pressured to buy anything.Once I decided which hearing aids I wanted I got a Bluetooth adaptor for my tv, so now I don't drive my wife crazy with the tv volume at 50 % or more. IT IS WONDERFUL TO HEAR EVERYTHING AGAINThe followup is EXCELLENT!! I called a number of hearing companies and they all insisted on a hearing test (100$ to... 200$) and then they would check my hearing aids. I had a full test less than 4 months ago!!!.Called Accoustica at 9am ,brought my aids in at 11 and all fixed by 11.20 even though my aids were a brand they did not normally work on.Cost : parts 20$ and labour 20$ ,what a deal.So friendly, so professional and so helpful. Let me start by saying... if you feel you can't hear well.. go get a hearing test done!... IT'S FREE. and if they say your hearing is normal and you don't believe them.. go to another hearing clinic! IT'S ALSO FREE. Apparently I could have used a hearing aid basically since birth on one side.(apparently my condition is extremely rare) I always felt my hearing was off, always felt my left side was overworking itself.. but I got a test done and was told I was fine. 5 years later.. 2019 short version is I went to NexGen hearing on Davie street (I feel they are a sales centre, when I went back for second appt I was asked 3 times if it was my first time here! when I was trying to get fitted for a aid. they didn't want to tell me the cost prior to their "free" trial I feel it was because... well I was going to end up loving to hear and would pay what I need to I had to ask a few times for a estimate as I didn't want to do a trial if I could not afford to purchase them.) On my way home from that appointment I Just did not feel right.I didn't like their approach. We googled other places closer to home and came across ACOUSTICA!First off- Wendy the receptionist is one of the kindest, warm, interesting people I have met. I walked in, she listened to my concerns, she showed me their price lists, talked things over- and I got a chance to meet Reza who is amazing that day as he had time. We did a completely new hearing test, loaded a trial hearing aid to see what it would be like.. and my goodness I teared up! we went ahead with ordering my aid. Yesterday I went in for my two week checkup Reza listened to my concerns and was able to adjust the aid. Over the last 2 weeks I feel more.. balanced. I don't feel one side is working harder then the other, I can hear people talking to me better. I have had amazing service here and I am so happy I chose to stick with them, their service is amazing, they are privately owned and operated, they really care about their clients. Their aids are reasonably priced. I haven't seen them turn any walkin clients away, they work around their booked clients to see people that happen to drop by. Also they have coffee and tea while you wait :)read more

I found this clinic after seeing an ad in a Christian newspaper. After many years of... having hearing impairment, my husband and I decided to get a hearing aid for me. Mr. Reza J. was very patient and thorough with me as I had quite a few questions. He explained everything in detail. It was convenient for me as the clinic was equipped with a full audiology/hearing test.In addition, Mr. Reza J. provided information on all the different hearing aid types available along with the sizes and colours of each. After wearing my hearing aid for the few couple of weeks, I returned to ask some more questions and again, Mr. Reza J. was very patient in explaining some details to me. I have purchased a hearing aid device for my father from Aucostica Hearing Clinic. Due... to the outstanding care and service we have received, I feel it is necessary to share my experience with others. The clinic differs from Costco style audiologists in that they take the time to develop a relationship with you and they are not interested in pushing only on buying the product.Mr. Jahanshahi spent roughly 1 hour with me and my dad explaining how hearing aids work and teaching my father all the intricate parts, and answered all questions. He truly cares about his patients. My dad also likes the fact that his hearing aid is not visible.I would highly recommend this very professional office to every one.read more
